The son of the Godfather of Soul comes to University Book Store later in August

Daryl Brown, the son of Godfather of Soul James Brown, will visit the Bellevue location of the University Book Store Aug. 28.

Brown will discuss his book “My Father the Godfather,” about the life of James Brown from the perspective of his son.

Brown will give a reading of his book and sign copies.

The appearance will take place at 6 p.m. University Book Store is located at 990 102nd Ave. N.E. in Bellevue.
