“Symphony Summer,” featuring The Peking Acrobats with Seattle Symphony are now on sale for the performance set for July 8-9. Also, tickets now are on sale for Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy on July 10 and 11; and Michael Feinstein: The Sinatra Project on July 16.

The Peking Acrobats feature daring maneuvers atop pagodas of chairs, wire-walking and gymnastics.

Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy will feature music from the popular video game series. Giant video screens will display video and art stills synchronized with the music.

Singer and pianist Michael Feinstein and his 17-piece band bring Feinstein’s latest recording project to Benaroya Hall. The Sinatra Project was released in September 2, 2008 and was recently nominated for a Grammy in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category. The Seattle Symphony has released Holiday Classics, its first-ever holiday album and first-ever self-produced recording. The album features works composed specifically for the holiday season as well as other festive classical works.

Repertoire on the disc includes a special rendition of Silent Night, variations on What Child is This, and several selections from The Nutcracker Suite

Holiday Classics can be purchased at Symphonica, the Symphony Store, and online for $9.99 or $7.99 with holiday concert ticket purchases. The CD is also available at select area retailers.
