Sunday, May 20

Indecent Exposure: The homeless suspect was allowed to use the hotel lobby computer on the 11000 block Northeast 8th St. Employees discovered that he was watching porn. Subject was asked to leave, but initially refused. Subject exited building and stood outside in the hotel drive masturbating. The subject was arrested and booked into jail.

Wrrant Arrest: Suspect was stopped for jaywalking on the 10800 block of Northeast 6th St. Suspect had a BPD theft warrant and was arrested. After the arrest, numerous unopened Tide-Pod containers and hair products were recovered from the suspect, who admitted she stole them. Additional charges pending.

Saturday, May 19

Assault/Pursuit: The 44 year-old suspect arrived at the location and surprised his ex-girlfriend and her male friend on the 14300 block of Northeast 20th St. The suspect, armed with a small pistol, pistol-whipped the male friend on the head causing head injuries. During the assault the gun discharged but did not hit the victim. The suspect fled the scene in his vehicle and was located by a Bellevue Sergeant who pursued the vehicle westbound on Hwy 520. The suspect stopped at Montlake Boulevard and was taken into custody with the assistance of Washington State Patrol and Seattle Police units. Detectives responded to the scene.

Robbery: The victim was walking south over the 520 overpass on 148th Ave NE. She observed male suspect running towards her direction. The male stopped in front of the victim reached out and pulled off a silver chain from around the victim’s neck. The male was last seen by the victim running north on 148th Ave NE. A K-9 track was initiated, but the suspect was not located. Detectives investigating.

Friday, May 18

Assault: The victim became involved in a road rage with the suspect on the 600 block Bellevue Way Northeast. The suspect allegedly made a motion from a distance as if he was pointing a gun at the victim, who believed that there was a gun present. The suspect vehicle could not be located. The victim advised officers at the scene that he did not want to pursue charges and only wanted the police to be aware of the incident. A case report was completed to document the incident and investigation.

Thursday, May 17

Drugs: Bike Officers were patrolling the downtown area when one of them observed a vehicle in the parking lot of a store containing an agitated male on the 10100 block Northeast 8th St. Upon making contact, the officer determined that the subject was in possession of suspected illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. The items were recovered and the subject was arrested.
