Sizzleworks Cooking School in Bellevue will host a special “appreciation night” from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, for local chefs, wineries, and the business community.

“We have a grand opening for the public on Sept. 12,” said Missy Will, executive chef, operations, “but we wanted to have a special night for those in Seattle and Eastside communities who can tour our new facility and see the opportunities for them to participate with us in providing exciting food classes and evenings of culinary delights for the public.” The open house will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, following a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce.

Visitors will have an opportunity to meet Will and Chef Carol Dearth, master chef/owner and director of the cooking school at both events.

“We are taking Sizzleworks to the next level,” said Dearth, who is a master chef and director of the cooking school.

“Cooking should be fun as well as instructional, and we want all our participants to experience the joy of cooking as well as sampling delicious cuisine from all over the world, especially prepared by Carol and her chefs,” added Will.

Persons interested in attending should call the school at 425-644.4285 or e-mail at learn@thesizzleworks.com.
