Seattle Symphony New Chamber series to give final performance of year Sunday

Seattle Symphony’s New Chamber series, designed to showcase the talents of individual members of the orchestra, will present its final performance of the year, highlighting music from around the world on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

The performance will take place in the Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall at Benaroya Hall. The first half of the program will include Odeonquartet, featuring Seattle Symphony violinists Gennady Filimonov and Artur Girsky, violist Heather Bentley and Seattle Symphony cellist Meeka Quan DiLorenzo. Pianist Natalya Ageyeva will also join the group onstage.

The second half of the program will feature Wesito and Friends, including Seattle Symphony violist, violinist and director Wesley Dyring, Seattle Symphony violinist Jeannie Wells Yablonsky, cellist Kevin Krentz, Seattle Symphony flutist and piccolo player Zartouhi Dombourian-Eby, Seattle Symphony bassist Joseph Kaufman, requinto and guitar player Peter Caruso, guitarist Michael Nicolella, pianist and tres player Fred Hoadley, tiple colombiano player and percussionist Alexander Dyring, quena player and percussionist Diego Coy, and percussionists Pedro Vargas and Ricardo Guity.
