Rockaroke winner named

The Bellevue Downtown Association crowned a new Rockaraoke champion last Thursday at the Bellevue Galleria during their ongoing Live at Lunch series.

The Bellevue Downtown Association crowned a new Rockaraoke champion last Thursday at the Bellevue Galleria during their ongoing Live at Lunch series.

Rockaroke is a “live band karaoke” act that regularly perform at local music venues. Cathy Sorbo, Seattle-based entertainer and office manager of Walkthrough Media LLC, topped the competition with a strong version of Loverboy’s anthemic, Workin’ for the Weekend. She and the runner-ups were awarded gift certificates from several Bellevue merchants.

The panel of judges included Lt John McCracken, (Bellevue Police), Gail Pettis (musician), Cooksie Kramer (Eastside Jazz Club) and Jake Bergevin (musician and educator).
