Preview dinner at John Howie Steak to benefit Assistance League of the Eastside

The Assistance League of the Eastside will be the beneficiary at a preview night dinner at the new John Howie Steak restaurant in Bellevue on Friday, Sept. 11.

The classically-styled steakhouse officially opens Saturday, Sept. 12 in The Shops at The Bravern, but the preview dinner event will allow supporters of the Assistance League of the Eastside to see firsthand how a restaurant prepares for its debut.

Howie, who is also co-owner of Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar in Bellevue and Seattle, Adriatric Grill Italian Cuisine & Wine Bar in Tacoma and SPORT Restaurant & Bar in Seattle, has received numerous awards and acclaim for his culinary career in the Northwest and his community service support.

Tickets for the preview dinner are $100 per person and include two beverages from a selection of signature cocktails, wines and beers; unlimited non-alcholic beverages; appetizer; soup or salad; entree; dessert, coffee and tax.

Reservations are required and can be made by mailing in a form from the Assistance League of the Eastside Web site, www.eastside.assistanceleague.org.
