Youth Theater Northwest will present PIGS! from July 11-20 as part of its 25th anniversary program.

Youth Theater Northwest will present PIGS! from July 11-20 as part of its 25th anniversary program.

The production, called a fun and funky fairy tale rock musical, will play at 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday; 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday; and 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 17.

The production includes a cast of 26 youths hailing from all over the Puget Sound area – Bellevue, Issaquah, Mercer Island, Renton, Newcastle and Seattle.

Youth Theatre Northwest is a school and a theatre. Over 1200 kids from throughout the Puget Sound area come to YTN and enroll in its 140 classes or perform in its 10 plays each year.

Tickets to PIGS! The Rock Musical – $15 for the July 11 opening night Gala (which includes an intermission dessert) and $13 each for reserved seating during the entire run of the play – are now on sale at the YTN box office, 206-232-4145, ext. 109, or online at www.youththeatre.org.

The theater is located at 8805 S.E. 40th St., Mercer Island.
