“The Performing Arts Festival of the Eastside (PAFE) is holding its annual Concerto Playoff Competition concert at 7:30 Friday, April 17. The top instrumental competitors from PAFE’s week-long adjudicated music festival will faceoff before a panel of three judges.

Finalists are determined the day before the contest and routinely include young musicians from Bellevue, Issaquah, Mercer Island, Redmond, Kirkland, and Sammamish. Some 8-12 finalists are chosen from over 45 concert movements played during the week. The free concert is at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. The church is located at 2650 148th Ave. S.E.
