Late-night happy hour: Barrio in Bellevue has added a late-night happy hour. The menu offers $5 margaritas, house-made sangria, select wines and accompaniments to a happy hour menu of small plates and sweets. Hours are 3-6 p.m. daily; Friday and Saturday 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Sunday through Thursday 10-11 p.m.
New wine cocktails: Purple Bellevue is introducing five new wine cocktails to its beverage menu. The new wine cocktails are: the Harvest Fizz (Gewürztraminer, Bellringer gin, Austrian orchard pear liqueur); the Montoya (Spanish brandy, Argentine Malbec, splash of Pedro Ximénez); Di Mora (bourbon, cabernet sauvignon, Fernet-Branca, muddled blackberries); the Thymeless Kiss (Riesling, fresh thyme, green Chartreuse); the Karmic Sour (Chai-infused syrah, pisco, lime, egg white, black pepper); all $9.
Early weekday happy hour: Every Monday through Friday, Sip Issaquah offers weekday happy hour from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. to close. Guests receive half off all glass pours and well drinks.
Half-price wine Sundays: Every Sunday in January, Bellevue’s Barrio location offers half price wine Sundays. Guests who spend $25 may get any bottle on the wine list for half off.
Half off wine days: Bellevue Purple Café and Wine Bar has half off wine by the bottle days on Sunday in January. Guests receive half off any bottle of wine on the glass-pour list or rotating wine list with a $25-minimum food purchase. Some allocated wines are not available with promotion. The same deal is offered at Kirkland & Seattle Purple Café and Wine Bar on Mondays.
Half-price tequila Mondays: Barrio in Bellevue hosts all-day half-price tequila Mondays during January from 11 a.m. to closing). Choose from more than 35 tequilas; all of which come with choice of a peppery red or jalapeno-based green sangrita.
Singles Mingle: Every Monday night in January, Bellevue’s STIR Martini + Raw Bar is “stirring” up the dating scene with singles mingle. From 6-9 p.m., STIR hosts a singles martini tasting with select martini pairings for $12.95 along with oyster specials, $1.50 to $2.50. Singles also have the chance to win a drawing for a STIR gift card.
Wine Buzz with Michael Anderson: Twisted Cork Wine Bar will host Wine Buzz (formerly known as SAUCE) from 5-7 p.m. in January, allowing guests to chat with beverage director Michael Anderson and other local wine experts while sampling wines paired with an appetizer trio. Cost is $15, no reservations necessary.
Half-off bottle Wednesdays: Issaquah Sip offers half off bottles of wine on Wednesdays in January. Purchase two entrées and receive any bottle valued at $100 or less for half the price.
Ladies’ Night: Issaquah Sip toasts to ladies on Thursday nights in January with specials. Ladies receive half off all wine flights along with $5 house pours. Live jazz is also featured from 7-10 p.m.
