Locals student arrested and expelled after making threats | Police blotter

Sunday, June 10

Recovered Stolen Car: A stolen vehicle was observed by an officer and stopped near the corner of 148th Ave. NE and Bellevue Red Road. Occupants were taken into custody. The driver had a loaded handgun in his possession at time of arrest.

Assist: Officers responded to a suspicious circumstance call at 16100 block of SE 40th St. It was determined the two suspects had fled from a stolen vehicle that was located nearby on I-90. A K-9 responded and completed a track from the vehicle to the suspect’s location. WSP took over the investigation and custody of the suspects.

Harassment: Unknown subjects dropped fliers outside houses in the caller’s neighborhood on the 3100 block of Bellevue Way NE. The fliers expressed anti-immigrant sentiments. There were no threats on the fliers. Report taken.

Saturday, June 9

Theft: Suspect stole items from a store on the 10500 block NE 2nd St. Suspect was contacted and found to have an outstanding warrant for Theft. Suspect was arrested and booked.

Friday, June 8

Trespass: Subject was seen on video camera outside of a residence on the 16200 block of NE 3rd St. Subject was trespassing on the property and arrested.

Thursday, June 7

Burglary: Property manager reported that one of the property’s storage units was broken into and being used as a stash location for stolen property on the 10300 block of NE 1st St. The investigating Officer identified several stolen items and drug paraphernalia. Scene and items were processed for evidence.

DUI/Crash: Officers responded to a collision where one of the drivers was possibly intoxicated near the corner of West Lake Sammamish Parkway and Northup Way. Upon arrival officers determined the driver was in fact impaired at the time of the collision. The suspect was arrested for DUI.

Wednesday, June 6

Harassment: Students and parent reported that a male subject had posted threats on social media. The suspect was identified and arrested and booked into youth detention for the threats. Officers conducted a search of the student’s house and found no weapons. Bellevue school district expelled the student.

Crash/Drugs: Officers responded to the scene of a minor traffic collision on the corner of SE 28th St. and 148th Ave. NE. Drug paraphernalia was located during the investigation.
