Kirkland to bring Oktoberfest with a Northwest twist

Kirkland Oktoberfest will be held from Sept. 27-29 at the city's Marina Park. The event will feature a München-style biergarten and festhalle with German beers, food, and music, along with long tables and loads of Oktoberfest activities.

 

Kirkland Oktoberfest will be held from Sept. 27-29 at the city’s Marina Park. The event will feature a München-style biergarten and festhalle with German beers, food, and music, along with long tables and loads of Oktoberfest activities.

The Oktoberfest, with a Northwest twist, also will feature a selection of Northwest craft beers and ciders for tastings along with Northwest food and entertainment.

Festival attendees also can enjoy the Oktoberfest Village featuring vendors and family activities on Saturday and Sunday. Though the Oktoberfest Village is free and open to all ages, admission to the Oktoberfest Biergarten requires a ticket and age of 21 years or older.

Tickets start at $20 and are available through the festival website at oktoberfestkirkland.com and Brown Paper Tickets. General Admission tickets include tokens good for beer and cider tastes, wine, German beers, and food. Those purchasing ticket before Sept. 22 will receive three tokens. Additional tokens will be available for sale onsite. Admission to the beer gardens is 21 and older only and requires a ticket.
