Songwriter, pianist, guitarist, singer Jill Cohn will perform selections from her eighth CD at Rock Bottom Brewery in Bellevue on July 19.

The performance begins at 9 p.m. and there is a $3 cover.

Cohn began writing her new CD while staying in Mexico after experiencing a yearlong writer’s block. She took a leap of faith, moved into an Internet-found sublet and completed her new album.

She will be accompanied by Mark DiFlorio on drums and Brady Millard-Kish on bass.
