The girls are set to hit the town on Wednesday, October 21, for the launch of The Girl Power Hour Eastside Chapter.

The launch party will take place at The Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland from 5:30-8:30 p.m. for an evening of socializing and networking among women. Guests can anticipate red carpet photos, designer cocktails, sweet treats from Trophy Cupcakes, Lesley’s Chocolates and The Woodmark, swag bags and discounts from the Spa. Tickets are $20 and are available online at www.girlpowerhour.com.

Girl Power Hour was formed when Darnell Sue and Samantha Lawton met at a run-of-the-mill networking event in February 2007. The two found themselves feeling uninspired and bored by the event. They decided to launch a social networking group for business women that would be trendy and fun. Sue currently oversees Girl Power Hour and has recently expanded the monthly meetings to include the Eastside.
