Youth Theatre Northwest will stage Disney’s Beauty and the Beast from Aug. 6-15.

The play tells the story of Belle, a simple and beautiful girl who yearns to escape her provincial life and her brute of a suitor, Gaston. However, Belle gets more adventure than she ever dreamed when she becomes a captive in the Beast’s enchanted castle.

All performances will be held at Youth Theatre Northwest, 8805 SE 40th St., Mercer Island. More information is available here.
