Union power an issue in 787 decision

When Sen. Patty Murray and Gov. Chris Gregoire say there is “nothing they could have done” to get Boeing to keep the 787 line here, that’s only because they are beholden to unions, who showed their belligerence when they went on strike last year and who fund their campaigns. They are not able to stand up against the unions or they risk losing their massive financial support.

Since Democrats are unwilling to stand up for us against the unions, it’s either time for them to go, or for business to go. That is the choice.
