The CIA has been caught off guard again this time in regards to what is happening in Egypt. Why is it that I am not surprised by the events in Egypt as are many of my friends.
Yet the CIA, which spends billions of our tax dollars every year – supposedly on gathering intelligence – does not seem to have a clue about how ordinary people are feeling or the suffering they are undergoing in countries such as Egypt.
I am not too happy about the fact $68 billion of our tax dollars is going to support dictators like Mubarak – this while our people are having their wages cut and are losing their homes.
After some calculations I have concluded we have given Israel, the biggest recipient of tax dollars, more than a $100 billion over the same time period.
I suppose asking our representatives for an explanation or the mainstream media to investigate would be asking for too much.
