Slatter an engaged and active neighbor

As a Homeowner Association President, a neighbor and a friend, I have known Vandana and her family for a decade. She has been consistently and persistently engaged and active in supporting all things Bellevue, including her neighbors, her son’s schools and the greater community, in real, tangible ways.

It is exciting to me as a 20+ year Bellevue resident to see her continuing to serve the Bellevue community by running for Bellevue City Council. She will objectively and wisely utilize the experience she has gained through her dedicated public health career and tireless public service (serving on the Washington State Pharmacy Board, as a Volunteer Advisor with Bellevue College, and as an Overlake Hospital Foundation Trustee, to name just a few).

I am voting for Vandana Slatter because I have known her to be trustworthy, tenacious, engaged and smart. We need innately collaborative people like Vandana on our Bellevue City Council to respectfully and thoughtfully listen and resolve not only the day to day typical city issues to ensure our neighborhoods, our children and indeed our entire community prosper, but also to consider bigger issues important to Bellevue residents like ensuring access to world class healthcare and education.
