Ed Luera is the right person for the Bellevue School Board. He will always put the needs of children first.

He has been volunteering in Bellevue as a coach and has been a mentor to at-risk youth for many years. Ed believes in giving back to the community that he has lived in for more than 16 years.

Growing up in Yakima, Ed worked in the fields to help support his family. He understands the importance of a good education, and the difference it can make in a child’s life. Ed is committed to eliminating the achievement gap because he believes that even one child dropping out of school is one too many.

His own degrees from Harvard and Columbia universities in economics and a Master of Public Administration make Ed the most qualified candidate for this volunteer job.

School Board members are not paid. I endorse Ed Luera because I know that he will always think of students first.
