Letter on police a disappointment

I am disappointed to read the letter from Sher Bird, for two reasons: firstly that of all the many letters you receive, you chose to print this one; and secondly because I think casting doubt on the actions of our entire Bellevue Police Department for one unacceptable incident is unreasonable.

I am disappointed to read the letter from Sher Bird, for two reasons: firstly that of all the many letters you receive, you chose to print this one; and secondly because I think casting doubt on the actions of our entire Bellevue Police Department for one unacceptable incident is unreasonable.

I work as a volunteer for the BPD, working in the Crossroads Substation, and I see first-hand the dedication of our Men in Blue and the many, many ways they perform invaluable services for our community.

I am sure Chief Linda Pillo will investigate the incident and take appropriate action. Let us remember however that we are all human. We should look for the good in all those who serve us so well, and forgive aberances when they occur.
