Lee’s business background good for city

In regard to current election campaigning, a lot has been said about the various candidates for Bellevue City Council, including Conrad Lee. However, there is one aspect of the qualifications that has not been addressed – an area that Conrad Lee excels in.
As the city of Bellevue grows in population as well as in status as a high-tech business center, it is inevitable that involvement in international commerce and trade follows. Conrad Lee is uniquely qualified to serve as a representative of the city in this environment.
Mr. Lee has a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington. He was a member of the Economic Development Council of King County, and was appointed as Regional Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration. In 2008, he was instrumental in arranging a trade alliance between the city of Bellevue and Dalian, China. Most recently, he helped in having the Gandhi Statue erected in Bellevue, which is very likely to be the new consulate for India.

This elevates the importance of the city of Bellevue in the eyes of the diplomatic circuit as well as the international commercial world.
