A recent letter-writer is either a government employee or extremely naive.

Democrats have used the soak-the-rich cover throughout US history to institute new taxes. Once they get I-1098 approved, they’ll quietly start lowering the definition of rich until we’ll all be paying state income tax on top of all the other taxes we already pay in the state of Washington.

Don’t let them get even a foot in the door. Vote “no” on 1098.
