So, Gov. Gregoire says, “I hate my budget.” I have personally and professionally found her statements on our state’s budgets hypocritical and abhorrent for years.

She should have thought of all of the social services of this state when she gave large across-the-board salary increases to government employees; failed to properly rein in the benefits and pensions of state employees; and waived Washington state’s portion of fees from the gambling revenues of the Indian casinos (while they donated big bucks to her campaign).

This is exactly what happens when you appoint an inexperienced, partisan manager as CEO of an organization.
