Community support helps market

The Bellevue Farmers Market celebrated 10 years this season and we kicked off our Saturday Market with a big move to the main pedestrian corridor on Northeast Sixth Street. The market is only sustainable with community support and we are thankful for all who generously contributed to our success.

The Bellevue Farmers Market celebrated 10 years this season and we kicked off our Saturday Market with a big move to the main pedestrian corridor on Northeast Sixth Street. The market is only sustainable with community support and we are thankful for all who generously contributed to our success: The city of Bellevue, council and staff including councilmembers John Stokes and Kevin Wallace, King County councilmember Jane Hague, Sterling Realty Organization, PACCAR, Bellevue Arts Museum, Galleria, and California Pizza Kitchen that provided utilities required by the county for our operation.

As we wrap up the season (the Saturday market closes Nov. 23) we are especially thankful to David Schooler of SRO for making it possible to provide free parking for our customers in the final weeks of the season. Thank you everyone for supporting local food, farms, businesses and community.
