Comment shows lack of sensitivity

The article, “Resident troubled by playground noise,” was given too much coverage. I understand unnecessary and annoying neighborhood disturbances, as I have been a victim of it in a neighborhood of close proximity. I could empathize with her until she was quoted “it is mostly “healthy” students” that caused her angst.

This was directly after explaining the playground equipment with drums, as the source of the noise complaints, was designed primarily for special needs students.

I am appalled at her politically incorrect and insensitive comment and opinion. She should be educated regarding developmental disabilities and informed of their “healthy” status. Yes, she is angry – and mean.
