Medina Police responded to an alarm in the 3100 block of Hunts Point Circle at about 4:40 p.m. Nov. 11 where they found the front door had been forced open and the thieves had already fled.
Upon closer inspection items appear to have been stolen and the homeowner is working on compiling a list of exactly what was taken. Possible suspects, along with an associated vehicle, were observed leaving the area. Surveillance footage from cameras is being reviewed for any additional information.
Also on Nov. 11, someone forced open the front door of a residence in the 8300 block of Overlake Drive West between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. The house was ransacked with at least one laptop computer being stolen.
In addition, between 9 p.m. Nov. 10 and 7 a.m. Nov. 11, three vehicle prowls were reported in the 8600 block of NE Seventh Street. All three vehicles were broken into by shattering windows with a variety of items taken.
