Seattle King County Realtors give awards to three with Bellevue connections

Three with Bellevue connections have been honored by the Seattle King County Realtors. The Realtor Champion award recipient for 2009 is J. Lennox Scott, chairman and CEO of John L. Scott Real Estate. The citation recognized his advocacy for federal policies to improve the health and vitality of the real estate market, and his leadership and involvement with other NAR concerns. Scott lives in Medina.

Scott lives in Medina.

Brenda Courtade received the Realtor Cultural Awareness award in recognition of outstanding efforts to broaden understanding and cooperation among all cultures in the increasingly diverse real estate industry. A member of SKCR’s board of directors, she was the founding president of the Washington Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) in 2007-2008. The 19-year veteran of the real estate profession has earned numerous awards from Prudential Northwest Realty Associates, where she is a top producer in its Bellevue office.

Claudia Wicks, an industry speaker, writer, Internet innovator and trainer known for delivering actionable instruction, was recognized as SKCR’s “Instructor of the Year.” Wicks is the co-founder of Real Estate Base Camp, a training, coaching and consulting business, and author of the recently published book, Make the Move — How to Move Your Real Estate Business Online.”
