Redbox is donating nearly 3,000 Blu-ray and DVD discs to the Fisher House Foundation to provide entertainment for the military and veterans’ families supported by the nonprofit, which offers a network of comfort homes while loved ones receive medical treatment. Redbox, one of Bellevue-based Outerwall’s several kiosk ventures, has donated more than 340,000 movie nights and 15,000 DVDs to charity over the past several years.

“At Fisher House Foundation, our goal is to aid in the recovery of service men and women, both physically and mentally,” said Dave Coker, president of Fisher House Foundation, in a statement. “We know our vets and their families will receive countless hours of enjoyment from these movies, all made possible by Redbox.”
