Gambling company moves headquarters to Kirkland

Washington’s largest gambling employer says new HQ will create 50 jobs.

Gambling company, Maverick Gaming LLC is moving its headquarters to Kirkland.

Previously located in Nevada, Maverick Gaming’s new headquarters will be located at 12530 NE 144th St. and will support at least 50 jobs, according to a company press release.

Maverick Gaming operates 19 card rooms in Washington located from as far North as Kirkland and Tukwila and as far South as Lakewood as well as a handful of properties in Colorado and Nevada.

According to the press release, Maverick Gaming employs over 2,000 Washingtonians and is the only gaming company with a unionized workforce in the state.

The company press release also mentioned the company’s support for Senate Bill 5212, a bill that if passed would allow sports betting within the state.
