Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy will open its first franchised store — in Bellevue on Friday, May 14 — featuring the latest in comics, games, manga, anime DVDs, art, collectibles, graphic novels and the like to the Pacific Northwest.

The grand opening begins from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the new 1,700-square-foot store at 14725 NE 20th St., Suite A, and runs through 6 p.m. Sunday, May 16.

Special activities planned include an appearance by comic book artist Amy Mebberson 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 15. Refreshments will be served.

Store hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
