Three classes will be held in Bellevue in response to a surge in interest in Green Real Estate.

The Sustainability Foundation, a Kirkland based non-profit, will provide education promoting sustainable and green building practices for builders, real estate and other professionals.

Green building is a comprehensive philosophy of building to reduce the impact of building on the environment.

Selected classes offered in Bellevue in the month of September that are open to the public include:

· Sept. 8: Green Products and Materials

· Sept. 19-11: National Association of Realtors Green Designation

· Sept. 24: Selling Green Homes
