Bellevue will become a regional headquarters for Atlanta-based Cbeyond. According to a story in the Puget Sound Business Journal, the move will include the hiring of as many as 100 workers in sales and other functions.

“It’s obviously a good business environment; there’s a lot of growth going on in Bellevue,” Steve Zimba, vice president of marketing at Cbeyond, told the Journal. “It’s a great central location and attracts high quality employees.”

Cbeyond provides mobile and landline phone service as well as Web hosting and broadband Internet service to 44,000 small businesses. It will be located next door to T-Mobile USA’s headquarters in Factoria.

The 10-year-old company publicly traded company also is considering adding a call center in the region, which could bring more jobs to the area.

The Journal reports that Cbeyond had first quarter revenue of $98.3 million.
