Twenty area high school students are now docents at Bellevue Arts Museum for the 2011-12 school year.

Training includes learning about BAM’s focus on art, craft and design, in addition to the specific exhibits, “What are the themes? Who are the artists? What materials and processes are used to convey meaning?”

BAM’s teen docent program has become an outlet for more than 100 teens ages 14 – 18.
