State health officials have immediately suspended the license of Bellevue dentist Kam Derakshani. He is charged with sexual misconduct with multiple patients who were also his employees.

The charges say that Derakshani made unwelcome sexual contact, forcefully touching the breasts, buttocks, and pubic areas of three female patients. Charges also say he used his fingers to penetrate the vagina of another patient, who reported the incident to police.

Derakshani can’t practice in Washington until the charges are resolved. Derakshani has 20 days to respond to the charges and to ask for a hearing.
