Bellevue firefighters hope to ‘fill the boot’ for MD

The Bellevue Fire Department Local #1604 will be out in support with boots in hand for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) as they participate in the annual Fill-the-Boot fundraising campaign Friday for children and adults with muscle-wasting diseases.

Firefighters will accept donations from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Northeast 28th Street and 84th Avenue Northeast in Hunts Point.
