Overlake Hospital Medical Center recently has added a second magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner for its medical imaging department. Overlake notes the new MRI, a GE 750 3T, is one of the most powerful MRI scanners available as well as one of the most technologically advanced.

In January 2010, Overlake opened its new MRI suites with the introduction of the Toshiba Titan 1.5T wide bore scanner, Overlake has invested a total of $6 million in the new MRI imaging suites.
