Native plant society sets spring sale

The Washington Native Plant Society’s spring plant sale will be held May 12 at the Bellevue Botanical Gardens.

The event, from 9-10 a.m. for members, and 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. for the general public, will include experts on hand to answer questions about native plants and how to start landscaping projects – big or small.

A wide assortment of thousands of native plants will be offered. In addition, books will be on sale along with other botanically-themed gifts.

Those who wish to shop early can purchase a society membership on the spot from 9-10 a.m.

The gardens are located at 12001 Main St.
