YMCA sets Healthy Kids Day today

Eastside families can celebrate Healthy Kids Day today at the

YMCA in Bellevue. The free community event promotes one hour of physical activity per day for children.

A number of activities are scheduled, including: Toddlers in Tumble Time, a story time, a magician, face painting, an inflatable obstacle course, and Omni ball games.

Also scheduled are youth sports activities, sport stacking, a karate demonstration, and displays by the city’s police and fire departments. A Wii tournament, with prizes, also will be held.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Y’s facility at 14230 Bel-Red Road.
