A drive to collect bicycles for villages in Ghana will be held from noon to 3 p.m. April 28 in the parking lot of the French Immersion School of Washington, 4211 West Lake Sammamish Parkway SE, Bellevue.
Organized by Tinuola Dada, a 9th grader at Eastside Catholic High School on the Sammamish Plateau, the project benefits ARAS, an organization that helps Ghana residents get to school or work in an easier manner.
People can donate bikes of any size or quality, but scooters or tricycles can’t be accepted.
