Footloose, a classic tale of teen rebellion and repression that features a delightful combination of dance choreography and realistic and touching performances comes to Bellevue High School, Wednesday, March 25 through Saturday, March 28.

Bellevue Senior Troy Hightower plays Ren McCormack, a city boy who comes to a small town where rock music and dancing have been banned. Senior Andrea Nikolic is Ariel Moore, a troubled but lovely high school student with a jealous boyfriend. Junior Antoine Martel plays Ariel’s father, Reverend Shaw Moore, a Bible-thumping minister, who is responsible for keeping the town dance-free.

The production is directed by David Kline, BHS Drama Teacher.

Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Bellevue High School Performing Arts Center, located at 10416 Wolverine Way. Admission is $8 per person ($7 with a donation of a can of food for local area food banks).
