Saints win 3A state tennis championship

The Interlake Saints girls tennis team consisting of Charlize Yeh, Sylvia Eklund, Olivia Sun, Addie Eklund, Angel Le and Abby Nash won the 3A state tennis championship, tallying 35 team points on May 25 at the Tri-City Court Club in Kamiakin. The Interlake Saints girls tennis team earned first place, tallying 35 team points at the 3A state tennis tournament on May 24 at the Tri-City Court Club in Kamiakin.

The Interlake doubles team of Sylvia Eklund/Charlize Yeh captured first place in the doubles tourney. Abby Nash/Angel Le registered a fourth-place finish in the doubles tourney as well. Addie Eklund collected a third-place finish in the singles tourney and Olivia Sun finished in fifth place in the singles tournament.
