Totems win Burlington-Edison Invitational

For the first time in school history, the Sammamish Totems girls golf team won the coveted Burlington-Edison Invitational at the Skagit Golf & Country Club on April 22.

The tournament, which was in its 27th year in existence, saw the Totems reign victorious with a total of 356 strokes (low score wins in golf). Mikaela Ikeda and McKenna Lamb shot a 87 on the 18-hole course. Sierra Hooper also shot a 89 on the 18-hole course. Mehr Luthra shot a 41 on the nine-hole course as well.
