2018 Backcountry Film Festival: Celebrating the Human-Powered Experience

The Mountaineers, a nonprofit outdoor community, is bringing the Backcountry Film Festival to the Bellevue Botanical Garden Jan. 22, 2018.

The film festival will feature a new set of films produced by Winter Wildlands Alliance. The screening is co-presented by Mountaineers Foothills Branch and the city of Bellevue’s Parks & Community Services Department. Half of the proceeds will go to support Bellevue Parks’ TRACKS program, which promotes youth outdoor adventure, stewardship and leadership.

From 7-9 p.m. on Jan. 22, 2018, viewers can watch a variety of short films on topics such as adventure, environment, climate, the outdoors and ski culture.

Films in this year’s program include:
