Bellevue School District calls for makeup days

Bellevue students got a five-day weekend thanks to the snow and ice storm, but they will have to give back at least one day of summer break in return.

The Bellevue School District has scheduled two makeup days later this year, with a possible third one on the horizon.

A third makeup day will be scheduled after the district confers with the state on what is doable.

Secondary students (grades 6-12) will go to school Jan. 30, while elementary students will have an extra day March 16. All Bellevue students will start summer break a day late, with June 22 as the second makeup day.
