Bellevue resident wins photo contest

Cristian Nicolae of Bellevue has been named a grand-prize winner in the “How Eye See the Word Photo Contest” sponsored by LasikPlus. The contest requested submissions of photographs that represented how LasikPlus services have changed, or could potentially change, the way people view favorite aspects of their lives as a result of laser vision correction.
Nicolae will receive a voucher for a free laser vision correction procedure from LasikPlus, a four-day National Geographic Photography Workshop in Washington, D.C., and will have his winning photo featured in upcoming LasikPlus advertising campaign.
His winning photo was taken during a trip with friends to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone, and featured a Native American teepee with a fire burning against the background of a dark, star-filled sky.
