Seven honored for emergency service

NORCOM (North East King County Regional Public Safety Communications Agency) workers have been honored for excellence.
Award recipients are Telecommunicator, Jeremy Henshaw; Telecommunicator, Mike Prill; Telecommunicator/Communications Training Officer, Becky McCracken; Member of the Technical Team, Sandi Clark; and Administrative Clerk – HR, Heather Facer.
In addition, King County Public Health honored two NORCOM employees for Emergency Medical Dispatcher of the Year. They are
Telecommunicator Roky Louie for Sustained Exemplary Performance; and Telecommunicator Josh Baker for Critical Incident (infant CPR).
NORCOM began operation on July 1, 2009 providing answering of 911 phone calls and dispatching police, fire, and emergency medical services for 14 fire agencies and five police agencies.
