State champions!

Bellevue High School football players hoist the 3A state championship trophy after defeating Yelm, 14-0, on Dec. 1 at Husky Stadium. The sixth-seeded Wolverines (12-2) notched their 12th state football crown with the shutout victory over the top-seeded Tornados (13-1). Max Jones gave Bellevue a 7-0 lead with a 1-yard running score in the first quarter, and Carson Rubin added a 1-yard TD run to bring the locals’ lead to 14-0 in the third quarter.
