The top female pool players in the region will be at The Parlor Billiards & Spirits in downtown Bellevue during the Northwest Women’s Pool Association tournament from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 16 and 17.

With amateur talent culled from all over the greater Northwest and Canada, women hit the tables in this tournament for a potential spot on the Women’s Professional Billiards Association (WPBA) Tour. More than 40 “ladies of the cue” are expected to compete in this game-upon-game, double-elimination, 9-ball tournament.

Games start at 10 a.m. both days; the final championship game is Aug. 17, at approximately 8 p.m.

Amateur female players may register for the event at http://nwpatour.com/. Entry fee is $45 for NWPA members and $65 for non-members.
