Local basketball teams return to action

After a holiday break full of basketball tournaments, the local teams are set to get back to their regular schedules.

The Bellevue Christian girls team will play its first league game of the season on the road against Annie Wright Academy on Jan. 3. The Vikings boys team will host Northwest High School on Jan. 3. Both Bellevue boys and girls teams will travel to face off against Renton, with the boys playing on Jan. 6, and the girls on Jan. 8. The Interlake boys will travel to play Eisenhower on Jan. 3, and the girls will be on the road to play Monroe on Jan. 4. The Sammamish boys will host Hazen on Jan. 3, and the girls will host Foster on Jan. 4. The Newport boys and girls teams will both host Issaquah on Jan. 3.
