The Interlake Saints cruised to a 222-335 victory (low score wins in golf) against the Juanita Rebels on April 19. Interlake senior Nhi Nguyen captured first place with just 39 strokes. Iris Deng captured second place with 41 strokes on the 9-hole course.

Kangaroos defeat Wolverines in KingCo contest

The Lake Washington Kangaroos earned a 9-5 win against the Bellevue Wolverines on April 24. Bellevue (6-6) will face the Interlake Saints at 4:30 p.m. on April 28 in Bellevue.

Vikings capture victory against Vashon Island

The Bellevue Christian Vikings earned a 6-3 win against Vashon Island on April 22. The Vikings (7-6) will face Seattle Christian at 4 p.m. on April 28 in Seattle.

Wolverines earn huge win against Islanders

In a matchup of the two top baseball teams in the Class 3A/2A region, the Bellevue Wolverines reigned supreme courtesy of a 6-5 win against the rival Mercer Island Islanders on April 24. Bellevue (13-3) will host Kentlake in a non-league contest at noon on April 29.

Newport nabs fifth victory of the 2017 season

The Newport Knights earned a 4- win against the Inglemoor Vikings on April 24. Newport (5-11) will host the Issaquah Eagles at 5 p.m. on April 28 at Newport High School in Factoria.
